针对澧阳平原水稻种植的积弊，龚佑琼还创新了水稻的种植模式。“我们不仅实施优质稻订单种植，还实行了‘统一农资供应、统一播种时间、统一栽培管理、统一病虫防治、统一收割时间、统一销售价格’的六统一种植模式，让不流转土地的小农户也实现规模化种植。”
龚佑琼介绍，作为常德香米品牌授权企业，他们认真制定并全面推行香米种植、生产、加工、仓储、包装全产业链行业标准，严格管控投入品，建立质量可追溯体系。
“常德香米看起来色鲜，闻起来气香，吃起来味正。每次一看就想吃，吃了又想吃，我们当地人都爱吃这个米。”龚佑琼笑着说，常德香米外观呈长粒型，米饭油亮蓬松、晶莹剔透、口感爽滑，具有自然芳香味，冷饭不回生、不粘结。蒸煮后，香郁满屋，色泽明亮，回味甘甜。
