英语四级口语考试分为四个部分，等级分为abcd四个等级。
自我介绍 20s
这个部分还是蛮好准备的，我自己提前写好了，然后找老师修改了一下，考前背的蛮熟的，所以问题不大，这个部分就20秒的时间，所以大家一定要溜一点啊，要不然一开始印象就不好了。
短文朗读 准备45s 讲1min
这个题和第三部分有关联，是个综合的考察，首先就是考察发音，我自己发音还可以，但是还是很担心，所以考前自己学习了一下音标。然后每天早上拿新概念2和3的文章朗读，练习读音，而且这里还可以学习词汇。
简短回答 20s
这个部分就是回答两个问题，一个是问那篇文章内容方面的问题，另一个是和内容相关的问题。回答第一个问题时，你一定要读懂文章讲了什么东西，边读边理解，要不然结束了就什么都忘了。在部分我是这样练习的，我每天早上读新概念，一般拿一篇完全不了解的文章直接读下去，然后读完了我自己给自己用英文做一个总结summary，总结这篇文章讲了什么东西，2的文章还不算长，但是比考试的要长，所以我一般定时，30s要总结完毕。临考试的一个月左右，我会找真题来练习，因为之前练习的材料难度比真题难，所以到后来上手就会容易一些了。回答第二题的时候，我会提醒自己首先回答问题，然后给出我自己的理由，论述我的观点，给理由很重要的，因为这样子才能说的长一点～
个人陈述 准备45s 讲1min
这个部分比较难一些，因为要在短时间内就给的主题准备好，然后说，所以我找了四级的作文题目来练，我一般是审题，然后掐时间，然后阐述，这里也要计时。
比如这个话题，如何摆脱贫困?那么我会给一个理由：要通过读书摆脱贫困。论述：因为读书可以帮助一个人进入到一个不一样的平台，接触优秀的人。读书还可以是一个人的思维方式发生改变，这对一个人的工作生活都会有很大的影响。

cet-set 考试采用机考形式，每场考试由 2 名主考和 3 (或 4 )名考生组成：
cet-set 考试分三部分：
第一部分是考生和 cet 授权的主考进行交谈，采用问答的形式。时间约 5 分钟。
第二部分包括 分钟的考生个人发言和 分钟的小组讨论。时间共约 10 分钟。
第三部分由主考再次提问以进一步确定考生的口头交际能力。时间约 5 分钟。
由于改革，有些省份实施机考形式。两个考生为一组参加。
第一部分为简单的自我介绍和问题回答，其中自我介绍20秒，问题回答为90秒。
