为减轻申请人办理申请手续的负担以及为提高办公效率和促进手续的合理化，从2011年开始，学费减免申请原则上为一年申请一次。 申请人应留意其所在学部和研究科的公告通知，并据此办理申请手续。
1. 第一学期和第二学期同时申请将从2011年开始。 如果想要申请两个学期的减免，确保在每年一次的相同时间进行申请。
2. 以下人员可在稍晚时间提交第二学期的单独申请：
a.2011年10月复学或编入或入读名古屋大学的新生。

f.本国因动乱或自然灾害导致政局不稳，来自本国的资助全部中断等真正迫不得已的情况。
注意：因自身原因收入减少或不能继续领取奖学金等情况，不能被认定为家庭经济突发变故。
