注意：非欧盟常住意大利学生可以在欧盟国学生第一批次申请期间申请学校的理科硕士课程，如果他们“因家庭原因、政治庇护、人道主义庇护、宗教原因”而持有有效的“居住证或下属或自主的工作证”。

non eu students currently studying in a master of science programme in another italian university, who wish to transfer to politecnico di milano, will not be able to do so for the march 2017 intake. transfers from other italian universities to politecnico di milano can only be made at the beginning of the academic year and are not allowed in the second semester. moreover, students holding a residence permit for study purposes cannot withdraw from their current career in order to activate a new one at politecnico di milano: in case of withdrawal, the residence permit for study purposes loses its validity and the student must apply for a new visa.

非欧盟国学生目前在其他意大利大学学习理科硕士课程，想转到米兰理工大学的，不能申请2017年3月招生。这类学生只能在学年开始的时候申请，不能申请第二学期入学。除此之外，因学习目的持有居住证的学生不能从当前的学业中退出，不能在米兰理工大学开始新学业：若要退出，其居住证将失效，学生得重新申请签证。
