在学生自学的基础上,分别引导学生汇报能说明小女孩是“幸福”或“不幸”的语句,并结合指导学生有感情的朗读,使学生在自己的朗读声中品味到小女孩的命运其实是不幸的,她所向往的“没有寒冷、没有饥饿、没有痛苦”的地方是不存在的,她的“幸福”只是在幻象中才能得到,从而更加感受到小女孩在现实中的不幸。至此,学生对文章最后一句中两个“幸福”的含义的理解也便迎刃而解了,使教学达到水到渠成之功效。
“以喜写悲,悲更悲。”现实中的她是那么可怜:她在寒冷的雪天穿着单薄的衣服,赤着脚在路上行走,她十分饥饿,又得不到家庭的幸福,唯一疼她的奶奶已经去世了,而爸爸又很凶,不顾她的死活。但作者却又向我们展示了她看到的多么美丽的景象:有温暖的火炉、喷香的烤鹅、美丽的圣诞树和慈爱的奶奶,这些美好的景物是多么的让人羡慕,但它们却永远都不可能实现,这就让我们对小女孩更加同情。在课文的研读中,让学生在现实生活和幻想的对比中更深刻体会到了她那悲惨的命运,让学生体会到了在描写中我们用描写欢乐的气氛来衬托悲哀的场面,会给人留下难忘的印象。

我先是让学生精读小女孩第一次擦燃火柴的这一自然段,了解作者在这一段中的写法以及小女孩的心理变化,读出感情来,并让学生提出自己的疑问进行相互交流。如此实施,效果甚好。孩子们在读中议,议中读,懂得抓住“这是一道奇异的火光!”这一重点句子来讨论,先是提出了:“为什么说‘这是一道奇异的火光’?”然后又提出了:“作者为什么不写小女孩就在暖烘烘的火炉边度过那美好的夜晚,而要那么残酷地写出火柴灭了,火炉不见了?”孩子们通过交流,不仅理解了:是因为小女孩在火柴光里看到了美好的幻象,所以才说这火光是奇异的;还了解了作者这样对比写是为了突出小女孩的悲惨遭遇;同时懂得珍惜现在的幸福生活。接着我再让学生以此方法学习小女孩其他四次擦燃火柴的段落,这样做可以收到事半功倍的效果,教师教起来简单,学生学起来轻松。

从课文导入开始,金老师就渲染一种情境,从与学生的谈话“你们的大年夜是怎么过的?”在学生充分发言后,金老师深情地说:“同学们真幸福啊!……在著名童话作家安徒生爷爷的笔下,有一个美丽的小女孩,却有家难归,在寒冷的街头卖火柴。小女孩有着怎样的命运”激起了学生对小女孩的同情,并迫切想了解课文的内容。在第一段的教学中,金老师紧紧抓住“可怜”一词,引导学生细细去品味文章,使学生对小女孩“由怜生爱、由爱生悲”,使学生的情感体验不断提升,情感不断升华,达到人文合一。
依据《课标》中“尊重学生,张扬个性,把更多的空间和时间让给学生,让学生自己去揣摩、感悟”的新理念,教学中老师交给学生读书方法,如:在学习1~4自然段,你从哪些句子体会到小女孩“可怜”?要求学生从文中找出句子,然后仔细读读这些句子,并说说自己的体会。从学生的交流汇报中,可以看出,学生能抓住文中句子谈自己的体会,老师鼓励学生各抒己见,相机点拨使学生从寒冷、人情冷漠、无人疼爱等方面,体会到了女孩的可怜这一环节,体现了老师的引导作用和学生的主体作用。
《语文课程标准》指出:“阅读教学是学生、教师,文本之间对语文的述程;是学生个性化的行为。”老师在教学中起到引导作用,在引导学生初读文本时,首先让学生快速读课文,熟悉文本后,让学生有目的地去自读自悟。教师充分尊重学生个人的独特体验,根据学生对文本的理解来指导朗读。教学中,金老师采用让学生谈感悟、抓重点词等多种形培养学生的朗读能力,达到了以读代讲,以读悟情的目的,真正做到“以读为本”
理解课文后,金老师设计了这样一个环节:课文第一段写小女孩卖火柴的,可小女孩是怎样卖火柴的,作者并没有详细地描写。但我们可以想象到这一整天小女孩会有什么样的动作、语言、心理活动,请你根据你的想象把它写下来。这样学生就化书本知识为自己语言,学以致用。这一写话练习,发散性了学生思维,他们深入理解了课文,课文的中心也从而得到了升华。另一方面,通过虚拟这一情境,一方面深化了课文的熏陶感染作用,一方面发展了学生的想象能力。
教师课堂的关注点只集中在了极少数学生的身上,孩子们的素质很高,读书都能够读出情感,如果能够给更多的学生读的机会,课堂的参与面会更大,收到的课堂效果会更好。
