1、国际生都要求托福成绩，ibt最好在80分以上。一些排名靠前的综合大学，托福要求接近90分。如，威斯康辛麦迪逊大学ibt最低要求87.
2、申请艺术类专业大多是不需要提供gre成绩的，但对于音乐教育，音乐理论等理论性较强的专业要求gre;器乐类和声乐类部分学校不要求gre，更看重的是表演能力;但90%好的音乐学院的博士要求gre，包括表演方向。gpa：3.0以上为好。
