法学院成立于2000年3月。现有教职员工43人，其中专任教师38人。专任教师中教授5人、副教授11人；博士6人，硕士31人。学院拥有2个本科专业，即法学专业和社会工作专业，面向全国招生。拥有法学学士学位授予权，已培养毕业生760人，学生就业率达90%以上，现有在校生900余人。2006年学院获得民商法学（含劳动法、社会保障法）硕士学位授予权。学院设有四个教研室及商法研究所，建有设备先进的模拟法庭和社会工作专业实验室。

 

The faculty of law was found in March, 2000. At present, it has 2 departments, the department of law and the department of social work with four academic-rooms and a research room of commercial law. Additionally, it has moot court for law students and professional lab for social work students with advanced equipments. The faculty’s total staff figure is 43 with 38 academic members (including 5 professors and 11 assistant professors). 6 of the academic staff have Doctor’s Degrees and 31 of the staff have Master’s degrees. The faculty offers 4-year LLB programme and has 900 current students and 760 alumni. The activity rate of graduates is over 90%. In 2006, the faculty was authorized to offer master programme focus on civil and commercial law (including labour law and social security law).

　　法学院形成了良好的学术传统，涌现出一批知名的学者，商业法、产品责任法等领域的研究在全国有一定的地位。学科带头人在省内有较大的学术影响，师资队伍结构合理，富有创新能力，在民商法领域形成特有的专业强势。学院依托学校的学科优势，突出办学特色，把培养“应用型”法学、社会工作专业高级专门人才作为本科的人才培养目标，通过理论学习与实践锻炼，培养学生初步的理论研究能力、实践能力、国际合作与交流能力及解决社会问题的创新能力。学院在课程体系、教学模式等方面积极为学生司法统一考试、社工职业资格考试等创造条件，实现本科教育与职业资格获取的有机结合。通过“法学类——经管类”复合型课程体系设计，培养学生的复合型知识结构，使学生在社会经济生活中既学会规则，又掌握实务，满足法律实践岗位对人才知识结构的需要。依托实践基地，突出实践教学环节，在校期间为学生创造参加法律实践工作、与职业律师进行直接对抗的机会，学生毕业后能够尽快地适应工作需要。法学（国际商法方向）在保持学院在民商法领域特色的基础上，突出国际视野，在课程设计上突出外语教学及国际商法类课程的比重。法学、社会工作专业相互支撑，社会工作专业坚持课堂教学与正规的社会工作机构培训相对接的教学模式，突出社会实践环节，强化社会工作专业资格培训，使学生得到切实的专业锻炼。

 

The faculty maintains a profound academic tradition and creates a group of known scholars, especially in commercial law and product liability law area. The academic leader of the faculty plays an important role in Provincial academic area. The academic staff is creative and is properly constructed as a strong team. The faculty established its unique features by coordinated with other dominate faculties of the university. For example, it established a “law-economic management” course system to provide students a compound knowledge structure consisting of law and economic management. Further, the faculty emphasizes “applied type” in bachelor’s programme. Students are encouraged to participate in various practices in law, moot courts or confronting the professional lawyers to meet the needs of their future jobs.

The law department (international commercial law direction) gives prominence to international view of law based on high proportion of foreign language courses and international commercial law courses upon the whole course system with national civil and commercial law as common basis courses of the faculty’s course systems.

Recently, the traditional course systems are newly combined with the national judicial examination preparation for law students so that they may acquire their profession qualification while achieving bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, this combination has taken place in the social work department in the same measure.  

The students are cultivated to have primary research ability, practical capacity, international cooperation and communication ability and creative capacity on social problem settlements.
